Turn Point
This project inhabits a narrow rocky spit of land. Rather than dominate the site with one or two large buildings, three smaller buildings cross the top of the point and are strung together by a loggia. The great room takes the commanding role at the end of the point with views and light from all sides. The main building includes a kitchen, great room, music room, fly-tying room, mud room, and powder room. The porch extends off the end of the great room both under cover and beyond the cover of the porch. The master bedroom building and guest building sit behind the main house and are oriented to provide ample privacy, natural light and views out. |
