Maury Island
Design for this house is based around a family with two boys and two girls. The site is constrained by a setback from Puget Sound to the north and a wetland to the south. Given the small building footprint the strategy was to create two towers, one for the boys and one for the girls. Each tower has an intermediate floor for changing and bathing and an upper floor with bunk beds. Each tower can sleep up to 6 people. The main floor is based on a simple great room scheme with a master bedroom to one end and a study/guest room to the other. |
